The Geely Monjaro crossover should go on sale in Russia this year, but for now it is being tested in Surgut with Siberian frosts and a variety of tests are being carried out. Live photos of the novelty were also published, on which the salon was shown for the first time.
“Tests are taking place in the northern territories. Taiga and urban conditions at temperatures down to minus 38 degrees. It hasn’t been colder yet this year,” said Andrey Kapustinsky, marketer at the Art-Avto dealership in Surgut.

He noted that testing is carried out by “an excellent team of professionals”, the Art-Avto service center is involved. Colleagues test Geely Monjaro on city highways and bad roads with ice: “They make the car idle all night, take a bunch of readings from various sensors. “They torture”, in general, the car, but it’s done well – it’s holding on.
As for interior photos, it will get three large screens, including a digital instrument cluster, a multimedia entertainment system display, and a third screen designed for the front passenger.

It is known that the crossover will receive in Russia the same 2-liter turbo engine as the cross-platform cross-coupe Tugella. In the Tugella, this engine produces 238 hp. and is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The start of Geely Monjaro sales is scheduled for the second half of the year.
