Honor unveiled its new flagship Honor V40 in China today. Live photos and unpacks published after the presentation have already become available online.
The smartphone is offered for order in China in two versions – at a price of $ 550 for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, as well as $ 620 for 8/256 GB. Detailed specifications can be found here.
Honor V40 became the first Honor smartphone presented after separation from Huawei and without its participation, and, accordingly, removed from the sanctions by the United States.
The Honor V40 is supposed to mark the return of Google’s app services to the international market for Honor smartphones. Its international version will be called Honor View 40.
As Kommersant previously reported, the smartphones that Honor will release after the separation from Huawei will no longer have AppGallery. Accordingly, the first flagship of independent Honor with Google services will be the Honor V40 (or Honor View 40). It is specified that the new Honor line will debut on the international market in the spring, including in Russia.
