The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has calculated the depth of localization of the production of the most popular passenger cars in our country. According to these data, the cars with the largest number of domestic components were Lada cars, but even in this case, the level of localization is about 50% or less.
The assessment of the level of production of the Russian industry is presented in points. The higher the score, the more domestic components in the car. The maximum score in the system is 8800.
The top five models in terms of localization:
- Lada Granta – 4621 points;
- Lada Niva – 4156 points;
- Lada Vesta – 3995 points;
- Lada Largus – 3420 points;
- Renault Duster – 2199 points.
The top ten also included Renault Logan, Kia Rio, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Solaris and Volkswagen Tiguan.
