The deadline for payment of the thirteenth salary of workers with a formal contract ends this Tuesday (30th), the last working day of November. For many Brazilians, the money will end up being used to pay off debts. A survey by the National Confederation of Commerce, Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) indicated that around 12 million Brazilian families are currently in debt, the highest number recorded in 11 years.
With the current scenario of inflation and high interest rates, the government this week announced a project that seeks to expand the population’s access to credit lines through changes in the system of guarantees for obtaining loans.
