Finding the right perfume is not always easy, because a fragrance is a signature of identity. And now, then, that we can finally get out more, the perfume returns to being a detail to be shared, after having long been relegated to an intimate gesture of our daily routine during the pandemic.

To guide us in choosing the most suitable fragrance for everyone, we asked the perfume creator Simone Andreoli to give us his indications. Simone Andreoli is a name and a rising brand in high perfumery, which debuted in 2014, when he was only 24, was the “youngest nose in Italy”. He is one of the exponents of designer perfumery and creates artistic fragrances, olfactory jewels to wear. Its perfumes are travel diaries and each essence evokes memories and sensations that transport the mind to every place, tracing infinite destinations.

What are the rules for choosing a perfume for someone else?
«When choosing a fragrance for someone else it is always important to put their personality, lifestyle and interests at the center. Knowing his profession and his character we can already have several ideas whether to direct ourselves on elegant, informal, casual or meditative notes. In my opinion, however, the decisive characteristics are the interests and passions because in most cases they correspond to an escape of pleasure by the interested party. There are many fragrances that can reflect or recall them: travel, sailing, music, sport, drawing on passions is a good rule “.

What should a perfume that instills well-being look like?
«The fragrances that manage to convey an immediate sense of well-being are those that lead back to the smells of nature. Citrus, aromatic and fruity fragrances are able to relieve the weight of stress by transporting us with the mind to moments of happiness. Sparkling citrus fruits such as lime, mandarin and orange awaken our senses giving us energy and vitality: Malibu – Party in the Bay among my fragrances is the one that releases all the colors of summer and the desire to party by the sea with its hints of lime and coconut water. Thirst-quenching and party-goer. Green and Mediterranean aromas such as small grain, pink pepper, cut grass and fig leaves immediately bring us back to nature and its landscapes: The Gold of the Wake it contains all the coastal scents of the Mediterranean scrub with aromatic and woody notes, while Businessman with scents of cut grass and leaves of cassis evokes the green British countryside bathed in morning dew.
