It starts this week: from 6 August the Covid-19 green certification, popularly known as green pass, it will be needed for a large number of social activities. Pending the clarification of the requirement for long-haul transport such as airplanes and trains and then for metropolitan transport, for public and private employees and for other sectors such as schools, the QR Code to be displayed will be used for restaurants and bars indoors, to access fairs, festivals and conferences, swimming pools and gyms but also for places of culture such as museums and exhibitions, shows and cultural events o sports competitions (to attend or participate in), theme and amusement parks.
It’s still: spas, spas, cultural, social and recreational centers (excluding those for children), game rooms, bingo halls and similar activities, public competitions. Both the user and the operator, in case of verification and lack of control or green pass, risk one fine from 400 to one thousand euros and at the third violation on three different days, the exercise will face closures from one to 10 days.
There are several ways to download the green pass, so as to always have it available and make its verification a very fast gesture, comparable to what we do when we pass a loyalty card in a supermarket. The point to keep in mind is that the green pass is a QR code which is automatically made available after thefailure of a tampon (in that case it will only be worth 48 hours), after the recovery from Covid-19 (valid for six months) or 14 days after the first vaccine dose, to be updated after the second (valid for nine months) or canceled if the recall is not made within the established times.
The simplest channel to get it is theapplication IO, the one developed by PagoPA useful for a growing range of public services, from the payment of notices and bills to access to bonuses and certificates. In that case, after logging in with Spid, i.e. with the digital identity that can be easily activated with a series of certification bodies including Poste Italiane, or with the electronic identity card, the green pass will arrive automatically: nothing more than a message to open in order to show the code directly from the app or save the image in the phone gallery. Done.
Another channel is theImmune application, the one used to try to keep track of the contacts at risk of people: it works on Android and iPhone, like the IO app, and in that case the data of the Health Card and theauthcode, a code that arrives via text message or via e-mail after the tampon, the vaccine or the recovery (in the latter case with some too long to the detriment of those who have overcome the disease, linked to the communication between general practitioners and ASL ).
Another channel is that of the site dedicated to the operation, the portal Digital Green Certificate: also in this case just log in with Spid, Cie, health card or identity card e download the pdf with the code, to save where and how you want (or print) and show if necessary. Some regions also offer applications for both Android and iPhone to consult your electronic health record (this is the case of Lazio with Salutelazio or Friuli-Venezia Giulia with Sesame FSE): the green certification is also there.
There are also third-party but secure services through which to actually save the image of the green pass, to conveniently store it in the wallets of the operating systems: CovidPass is one of them. Other apps, on the other hand, can acquire the code alongside it, for example, with loyalty cards, such as StoCard, or soon the payment super-app Satispay by almost two million users in the new Cards section. In both cases on Android and iPhone and being able to protect access with biometric recognition mechanisms or with a pin.
In this sense, it is necessary to imagine aever deeper integration of the green pass with other apps and platforms. An example? Sportclubby, the platform for booking sports lessons and wellness treatments used by over 500 thousand users on Android and iPhone, will allow sports centers to manage bookings and entrances for their members from the app: from 6 August each club will be able to allow – if and where required – reservation only to those with a valid Green Pass, enabling the regulation on various courses and fields for indoor activities. At the same time, it will be possible to continue to manage all outdoor activities, such as tennis, padel or various types of outdoor courses, without restrictions, from the same platform.
In fact, at the time of booking, the user will be asked to share information relating to the expiry of the Green Pass, by scanning the relevant QR Code. The app will verify the correspondence between the name of the holder of the green certificate and that of the user registered on Sportclubby (in turn already verified when registering on the app, with two-factor authentication procedure). It will also be possible to load your Green Pass from the app – which will only be visible on your phone, in respect of privacy – to always have it with you when doing sports.
Ultimately, for those who could not use any of the systems just mentioned, it is possible contact your primary care physician or medicationa, with the Health Card, to obtain a printout of the QR code. Verification C19 is instead the app to check the green pass.
