The novel “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” (2003) joined Netflix’s catalog this week. Until then, the title was only available for rent or purchase on other digital platforms.
In the plot, advertising executive Ben bets his boss that he can make any woman fall in love with him in ten days. At the same time, journalist Andi is determined to make life hell for any man who approaches her for a story. The two end up bumping into each other in a bar and choose each other as the target of their plans.
The film stars Kate Hudson (“Almost Famous” and “Bride Wars”) and Matthew McConaughey (“Dallas Buyers Club” and “Interstellar”). Directed by Donald Petrie which is also responsible for titles such as “Rich Kid” (1994), “Lucky in Love” (2006) and “Love in Little Italy” (2018).
