How to remap keys in Windows 10 and 11: 3 ways

There may be several reasons for remapping keys on a laptop or PC – they may simply not work, which complicates some processes, or the user wants to simplify his life in certain scenarios. Fortunately, the process of reconfiguring the keyboard is quite simple and does not require any special skills or experience – just download the software, follow the instructions and get the most out of the input tool.

Remapping keys in MapKeyboard

The program is very simple, understandable and, importantly, free, plus there is support for even older versions of operating systems. It is enough to download the software, install and open. Further, the reassignment of keys occurs in three clicks:

  1. click with the mouse on the virtual keyboard key that you want to reassign;

  2. in the lower left corner, click on the drop-down box and select the button option that you want to assign to this key;
