The live-action film “How to Train Your Dragon” got its first official trailer this Tuesday (19). The work inspired by the animation of the same name is scheduled for release in June 13, 2025.
The brief trailer focuses on presenting the main dilemma of the character Hiccup, who does not identify with the practices of the Vikings at the time. The classic scene from the animation, in which the protagonist meets the dragon Toothless, is the focus of the record.
Mason Thames (“The Black Phone”) is Hiccup’s interpreter. Also confirmed in the film were actors Gerard Butler, Nico Parker, Nick Frost and Julian Dennison.
The story of Hiccup and Toothless is told in three films, with the first being released in 2010 and the last in 2019. Hiccup is a young Viking who cannot adapt to the traditions of fighting dragons. After helping the dragon Toothless, with whom he forms a friendly relationship, the young man dedicates himself to showing others that dragons and Vikings can coexist in peace.
