HP Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2 laptops know when they are in the user’s lap

HP has unveiled the new Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2 laptops that have a number of interesting features.

The HP Dragonfly G2 is powered by the latest 11th generation Intel processors and can be loaded with up to 32GB of RAM. Both models have new “premium” backlit keyboards that are not afraid of small amounts of water spills.

There is a function that allows you to determine if the laptop is on a stable surface or, for example, on the lap of users. This feature has been added to prevent laptop overheating and reduce temperatures more efficiently.

The HP Dragonfly Max and Dragonfly G2 have 13.3-inch screens and can support 4G or 5G. Dragonfly G2 can be equipped with FullHD or 4K displays with HDR400 high dynamic range and up to 1000 cd / m2 brightness2.

Both laptops are very similar, but the Dragonfly Max has got a few extra features like a 5MP webcam and an IR sensor for Windows Hello login. The G2 has a 1.2MP camera.

Both laptops will be available for purchase in January 2021, although the company has yet to announce pricing for the models.
