HRDH: REDS is the First Eligible Investor for Gournes

The Board of Directors of HRDH, a member company of the Superfund (EESYP) during its meeting today approved the result of the electronic auction (e-Auction) for the submission of improved financial bids, for the utilization of part of the former US base in Gournes, Heraklion, Crete.

It then announced REDS SA as the First Eligible Investor, as it bid in the e-Auction with an improved bid totaling 42,237,679.20 euros (Net Present Value 40.2 million euros).

The e-Auction created a competitive environment of bids and transparency, leading to high prices, with the improved bid being 77.8% higher than the starting price, which was set at 22.6 million euros.

The tender dossier will be submitted to the Court of Auditors for pre-contractual audit.

In the tender for the development of the property in Gournes on behalf of HRDH, Eurobank and Cerved Real Estate Services act as financial advisors, Potamitis Vekris Law Firm as legal advisor and Decathlon and Cerved Real Estate Services as technical advisor. The e-Auction process was carried out through the electronic platform managed by Eurobank Holdings.

The property in Gournes, Heraklion, Crete is a coastal area of ​​345,567 sq.m., which is located 13 km from the airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” and 16 km from the city of Heraklion. In the last 20 years, the Hellenic Center for Marine Research, the Aquarium “Thalassokosmos”, the International Exhibition and Conference Center of Crete, etc. have been developed in areas adjacent to the property.
