According to the source, Huawei has announced new versions of the MateBook 15 2022 laptop in the home market – with AMD Ryzen APUs. The configurations are the same as the versions based on previously introduced laptops with Intel processors (16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD), but the prices are slightly lower: the base variant starts at $690 – versus $770 for the MateBook 15 2022 with Core i5 processor.

Interestingly, the APUs themselves have not yet been announced – Huawei will talk about them on February 27, when they start accepting pre-orders. However, the source believes that the MateBook D15 Ryzen Edition may use AMD Ryzen 5 5625U and Ryzen 7 5825U APUs. The first is 6-core and 12-thread with a maximum frequency of 4.3 GHz. The Ryzen 7 5825U has 8 physical cores, can run 16 threads and runs at up to 4.5GHz.
MateBook D15 2022 is enclosed in a metal case and is equipped with IPS screens with Full HD resolution. The thickness and weight of the version with Intel processors is 16.9 mm and 1.6 kg.
