EMUI 12, a new version of Huawei’s proprietary user interface, will soon be released for compatible smartphones. Flagship smartphones Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei P40 and Huawei Mate 40 received it only at the beginning of the year.
Huawei has now clarified the release schedule for the update in Europe, confirming that the following smartphones should receive it in the spring. Previously, Huawei announced that the update for Huawei P30 will be released by April 2022, but now we know more exact dates for the rest of the models.

- Huawei Mate Xs: late January 2022;
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro: mid-January 2022;
- Huawei P40: mid-January 2022;
