Huawei has released a new product type for itself – a laptop with a “smartphone” platform. In China, sales of Huawei Qingyun L410 have already begun, which is based on the proprietary Kirin 990 single-chip system.
In terms of features, the Huawei Qingyun L410 is a variation of the Huawei MateBook 14, which replaces the standard processor with the HiSilicon Kirin 990. The model is aimed at government and corporate customers. It may come preinstalled with the Windows 10 operating system.
Taking into account the target markets, the Huawei Qingyun L410 is more expensive than the standard Huawei MateBook 14. Thus, the version with 8 GB of RAM and a storage of 256 GB will cost 1272 or 1390 dollars, depending on the presence of the pre-installed OS.
Huawei Qingyun L410 is equipped with a 14-inch 2K screen, 8 GB of RAM, a solid state drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Out of the box, as standard, it runs a special operating system UOS 2.0. More importantly, the device may be upgraded to Huawei Hongmeng Operating System (HarmonyOS) in the future.
The Huawei Qingyun L410 is slated to be released to the consumer market after “validation” with corporate and government customers.
