Huawei and one of its partners have developed a new SDK Choice tool that allows developers to quickly and easily migrate GMS applications to AppGallery.
The Choice SDK was originally developed for Raiffeisen Bank International and its mobile app, but its popularity convinced the company to open source and make it available to any app publisher around the world. Since then, it has been used by organizations in Austria such as the Postal Service, national television and the Austrian Federal Railways.

The Choice SDK has a simple, stand-alone switch that removes the complexity of the development process and allows brands to quickly and cost-effectively adapt and port their apps, according to the Bluesource executive.
AppGallery now has 530 million monthly active users, with an annual growth rate of 61.5% in Europe with 42 million users. The platform has 2.3 million developers, of which 300,000 are located outside of China, up 77% from last year.
