Huawei is desperate: the company has taken up smart pig farming to improve its financial situation

The Chinese media reported that Huawei has launched a smart pig rearing program using modern technology. Earlier, Ding Lei, founder of NetEase, Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba, and Liu Qiangdong, founder of JD.com, also confirmed that they are engaged in pig farming.

Experts believe that Huawei’s entry into the pig market is due to the desire to find new sources of income with the help of products that are consistently in great demand. Sales of Huawei’s mobile devices have plummeted since the imposition of US sanctions. A very short list of Huawei devices due out this year was released yesterday.

Huawei is desperate: the company has taken up smart pig farming to improve its financial situation

At the opening ceremony of the Smart Mine Innovation Lab in Taiyuan, Shanxi province on February 9, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei said that more than a year after the imposition of US sanctions, Huawei launched the Naniwan self-rescue program. The company also plans to develop coal mining, metallurgy, music content, smart screens, PCs and tablets.

However, financial columnist Wang Jian said Huawei’s traditional industries are still in their early stages of development, too small to significantly help Huawei. It is believed that Huawei will soon run out of semiconductor stocks, so its core business could die out before Huawei makes any significant gains in other industries.
