Huawei yesterday announced plans to roll out multi-phase updates with the new HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. What surprised many, the list included more than a hundred device models, including not new models at all.
According to Chinese sources now, for such old models, a program will be presented to update the amount of built-in memory. China is already running a similar program for preferential battery upgrades, as well as discounts on components, including screens, cameras and motherboards.
