Huawei Mate 50 will be released in the first quarter of 2022

A well-known Chinese insider, Digital Chat Station, has confirmed that Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is actively preparing to launch the Huawei Mate 50 series. He has received exclusive information that the Huawei Mate 50 will be launched in the first quarter of next year.

Earlier it became known that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC has been successfully tested in the 4G range and will be used in the Huawei Mate 50. The Huawei Mate 50 will be the first smartphone on the top Snapdragon 898 platform without support for the fifth generation network due to the ongoing US sanctions. This smartphone will receive a 4G version of the platform, but its performance will be the same as that of the older version.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 mobile platform will be manufactured by Samsung using a 4nm process and a three-cluster architecture. The official presentation of the flagship SoC is expected next month, with the Xiaomi 12 being the first Snapdragon 898 smartphone.

The Huawei Mate 50 should receive an LTPO screen with adaptive image refresh rate, an improved camera, a new version of HarmonyOS and a number of other modern features.

Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.
