Huawei today announced that the company will soon launch the MateBook 14 AMD Edition laptop in Singapore alongside the MatePad T 10S. The laptop is part of the company’s line of ultraportable laptops and will be available for pre-orders from January 9-15.
The Huawei MateBook 14 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 4000H processor and a 14-inch display. The display has a resolution of 2K and is surrounded by thin bezels, the screen occupies 90% of the lid area. Its aspect ratio is 3: 2, and the keyboard houses a recessed camera and a power button with a built-in fingerprint reader for added security.
For cooling, Huawei equipped the laptop with Shark Fin 2.0 fans. The battery has a capacity of 56 Wh, it lasts up to 10 hours when playing 1080p video. The laptop is equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of non-volatile memory on a solid state drive. Its price is $ 985 and sales start on January 16th.
The MatePad T 10S has a 10.1-inch display that occupies 80% of the bezel. It is equipped with Huawei’s ClariVu technology, which offers enhanced visuals and an enhanced viewing experience. The tablet even has speakers that have been tuned by Harmon / Kardon.
