Huawei has begun distributing the beta version of the HarmonyOS 2 operating system for the flagship Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones.
As a reminder, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro became the latest Huawei flagships with pre-installed Google services and apps. Now those who have expressed a desire to participate in testing can change the EMUI 11 and Android shell to Huawei’s proprietary OS.
While Chinese users can join testing, the following models are supported:
- Huawei P30 – ELE-AL00 / ELE-TL00
- Huawei Pro Pro – VOG-AL00 / VOG-AL10 / VOG-TL00
According to the changelog, the beta version of HarmonyOS 2 for Huawei P30 devices brings a brand new home screen user interface, animations, improved icons, control panel, Super Device feature, new task manager, HarmonyOS fonts and more.
