Huawei P30, Honor 30, Honor V30 and other models will receive HarmonyOS 2.0 a few months earlier than expected

Earlier this month, Huawei held a launch conference for the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and also posted a list of models that will receive this update. Now there is information that some older models of Huawei and Honor smartphones will receive the update ahead of schedule.

The source reports that the Chinese smartphone maker will release the final version of the operating system a full quarter earlier than originally announced. The early release of HarmonyOS 2.0 will only be available for some older models. In addition, the Chinese analyst added that internal testing of HarmonyOS 2.0 for devices such as the Huawei P30, Honor 30 and V30 series has already started.

Huawei is expected to begin the public testing phase of HarmonyOS 2.0 for these and other models in July 2021. The development team is reportedly working in three shifts to release the update as soon as possible.

In other words, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, Honor V30, Honor V30 Pro, Honor 30, Honor 30S, as well as other smartphone models will receive an update in the third quarter of this year, and not in the fourth, as announced last week.
