Huawei has reported on the distribution of the EMUI 11 branded shell for smartphones in Russia.

Previously, the new shell has already received the flagship series Huawei P40, Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 30. Now the update will affect the Huawei P30 series, as well as Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei nova 5T.

The start of distribution for Huawei P30 (review) and P30 Pro (review) is scheduled for February 22, 2021, and for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS and Huawei Nova 5T models – March 16. The update will be available over the air.

The EMUI 11 interface has received new features related to privacy and security, interactivity, performance and other aspects. As the manufacturer promises, they will provide Huawei users with a smoother, more intuitive and safer experience.

EMUI 11 brings a redesigned user interface, improved Always-on-display performance with new themes, new GUI effects including Long-take Animations, natural gestures, improved sound design, and improved multi-window mode Multi-Screen Collaboration (in Russian localization, just the “Multiscreen” mode) with mouse and keyboard support, and so on. With EMUI 11, Huawei smartphones can open three different applications on a connected PC.
