According to a Chinese source, the top-end Huawei tablet computers of the new generation – MatePad Pro 2 – will debut on June 2, and will go on sale after 8 days – on June 10. There will be two models in the line: the older one is designated by the codename Wagner, the younger one is called Marx. The configuration of the former will be more interesting, the screen will be larger, and there will be 5G support. Marx will be closer to the current MatePad Pro.

But, as it turned out, that’s not all. Already in July, Huawei will have another tablet computer – the MatePad 2. It will be simpler than the MatePad Pro 2 (Marx) and, of course, cheaper.
At the moment, the MatePad Pro 2 is credited with the Kirin 9000 SoC, 12.2 or 12.6-inch screens, pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0 and a quick launch bar similar to the Dock in macOS.
