The team of the popular cartographic 2GIS, now part of the SberBank ecosystem, announced the launch of a major update of the service, presenting many functions and tools for a wide variety of user categories – citizens, entrepreneurs, developers and even truck drivers.
In Moscow and Novosibirsk, check-ins have been earned in several dozen companies and networks. Among them are Burger King, Dictatura Estetica, Stand Up Patrick’s and Hard Rock Cafe. Checkins allow you to quickly select among similar companies those visited by the user’s friends. As the developers note, it is much easier to check in some place than to write a review. To check-in, it is enough to scan the QR code at the establishment.
The new “Write to all” button allows you to quickly send a request to many companies, for example, conduct a kind of mini-tender.
For entrepreneurs, a separate application and web service “Delo” has been created, which helps to centrally manage the company’s presence on the Internet: in 2GIS, Yandex, social networks, on “Booking”, “Tripadvisor”, a total of 36 sites.
A pedestrian navigator has also appeared for ordinary users. Product Manager Alexander Syrkov explained:
Everyone has walking routes, but only we have a full-fledged navigator: with pedestrian crossings, paths, stairs, gates and fences. “
For truck drivers, navigation has been improved taking into account the restrictions on the movement of trucks, and for developers, tools have been improved that allow using 2GIS geotechnologies for taxi services, delivery services, large retail chains, transport companies, and the like.
