The duo Hugo & Vitor launched this Thursday (9) in partnership with Gustavo Mioto the song “Not a month”. The country song with romantic pop influences tells the story of a couple that worked even with people betting against it.
Known for having written “I will have to overcome”, recorded by Matheus & Kauan and Marília Mendonça, the singers who started in Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul, said they see their new song as an opportunity to stand out more in the market. The video for “Nem um noite” will be released on Friday at 11am on the duo’s YouTube channel.
According to them, this song was not selected for Mioto's participation. “We had thought about making a more upbeat song and not a romantic song. But when he heard it, he became very interested and decided to participate in it. It was a gift for us”, said Vitor.
The lyrics tell the story of two opposite people, who fall in love and prove to the people who said that the couple wouldn't last even a month, that they will stay together. According to the duo, the phrase “Whoever plants love, reaps forever” is what marks them most in their composition.
“I think a lot of people will identify with this because there are a lot of couples who are a little discredited at the beginning and end up working out really well”, commented Vitor.
