Humberto Martins denies rumors that he has Parkinson’s after message from his sister

The actor Humberto Martins 63, posted a video in which denies fake news that said he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease an incurable disease. “This is not true, it’s a lie,” said the actor, who even received a message from his sister, worried after reading about the rumor.

“The fact that brings me here is a news story that has been going around on YouTube since 2021, and it is worrying because my sister is about 80 years old and sent me a very worried message about this, telling me: ‘Don’t isolate yourself, we love you very much’. I just didn’t go to visit her during this period because of a lot of work and taking care of my life”, said Martins before showing the fake news that is circulating about him having Parkinson’s disease.

According to him, this type of rumor circulates “with a purpose”: “To take away our prestige, to leave us out of the game, we know how it works.”

“Just to show you, this is not true, it’s a lie,” he said. “Don’t worry, everything is fine. Thank God, this is not true. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be here like this, doing what I do, and acting in life the way I do.”

Martins also pointed out that he remains active, doing work related to scriptwriting, directing, filming and launching an online acting classes platform.
