Chinese microblogging service Weibo has blocked the accounts of cryptocurrency exchanges Huobi, OKEx, Binance and MXC. Reported by The Block.
According to the newspaper, violations of the rules of the community became the basis. Representatives of the platform did not specify what exactly they were talking about.
In November 2019, Weibo suspended a Binance account for violating laws and regulations and community guidelines. All content and subscribers of the exchange were also removed.
Later, the service took similar measures against the accounts of TRON founder Justin Sun and the CMO of the Bitcoin exchange Binance Yi He.
Recall that on March 10, 2021, the social network Twitter suspended access to the profiles of several crypto experts. Willie Wu’s account was unblocked six hours later, citing an algorithm error.
