Huobi will be in charge of launching Dominica’s national government token

Trading platform Huobi announced that it has received permission from the authorities of the Commonwealth of Dominica to launch the DMC token.

Huobi developers intend to support the launch of Dominica DID and DMC. Solutions are created on the basis of the Tron blockchain, which is becoming the national cryptocurrency infrastructure of Dominica.

The exchange team is going to ensure the interaction of the DMC token with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and other projects through the BitTorrent Chain protocol. The DMC token will be listed on Huobi Prime, an IEO platform.

Huobi will distribute DMC tokens and add a Dominica DID client for authorized users. Using Dominica DID on the Tron blockchain, users will be able to create Soul-Bound Tokens (SBT or non-transferable token – a type of NFT that is issued in a single copy and is tied to a specific blockchain address).

In the virtual Metaverse Dominica, SBT owners will be eligible for digital citizenship in the metaverse, and will also be able to claim citizenship of Dominica itself, allowing you to travel without a visa to 130 countries, including the entire EU, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, Brazil, Hong Kong and Russia. DMC will have legal status in the Commonwealth of Dominica and will be able to be used in the country as a means of payment. In the Dominica Metaverse, it will be used as a native token.

Last month, residents of Dominica were allowed to pay for goods and services with the Tron cryptocurrency.
