Videos show a tornado passing along a highway in Florida, flashing power lines along the highway. The images are from the United Cajun Navy, a non-profit organization that forms rescue teams.
One of the organization’s groups can also be seen assisting a semi-trailer truck driver after the vehicle was struck by a violent tornado west of Fort Pierce and south of Florida’s Turnpike on Wednesday.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle, treated at the scene and taken away by first responders, according to Facebook posts from the United Cajun Navy.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken away by paramedics, according to the organization.
Hurricane Milton leaves deaths and destruction
Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, as a dangerous Category 3 storm, generating strong winds and rain, as well as flooding and tornadoes.
It weakened to Category 1 as it crossed the state and moved offshore, according to the US National Hurricane Center.
Still, the storm left a trail of destruction, roofing houses, knocking down trees, poles and a crane.
Thirteen people died after the hurricane hit, according to authorities.
Milton is the third hurricane to hit Florida this year, leaving more than 3 million people without power in the state. Wind gusts of 100 mph were recorded near Tampa.
