The religious Ricardo Henrique, husband of gospel singer Sulamita Alves, who has more than 280 thousand followers on Instagram, died last Wednesday (3).
On social media, the singer published that Ricardo died in the Tocantins River. “We will soon bring you more news about what happened.”
The couple was at the “Life Project 2024” event, in the municipality of Brejinho de Nazaré, in the state of Tocantins (TO).
Ricardo's last publication was made on Instagram, late Wednesday morning. After the news, internet users filled the couple's posts with messages of support.
“May God be the comfort and strength for you and the whole family at this time. May hope in eternal life be a point of comfort”, wrote a follower.
Serious car accident
On the morning of December 15, 2023, Sulamita and Ricardo were in a car accident. The vehicle was destroyed, but the couple was okay.
“Great was the deliverance. Thank you sir, everyone in the car didn't suffer anything serious, everyone is fine. I saw the Lord's hand guarding us. I never thought I would go through this, what a horrible feeling. My husband and I just have to be grateful”, wrote the singer on social media.

Sulamita has more than 54 thousand subscribers on YouTube. The singer's most popular video has almost 400 thousand views.
On Spotify, the artist has around 6.5 thousand listeners and the most played song is “Faz Morada”, released in December 2021.
