Hybrid and remote jobs give employees 20 days off a year, says survey

Employees working on hybrid or remote models were given approximately 20 days off a year, according to data from a survey by global consulting firm Robert Half.

The research points out that, with the new routine, workers save commuting time, either by reducing the use of public transport or by spending less time using cars.

In addition to saving time, the survey also points to an improvement in the quality of life of workers who adopt the models.

The survey also shows that hybrid work is the preference of 48% of companies in 2022, and is the model preferred by 92% of professionals interviewed.

For reference, 58% of companies that have adopted the hybrid model require an office presence two to three times a week. Still, 95% agree that the strategy doesn’t work for everyone.

As for the challenges, the research points out that companies need to focus on rebuilding connections between teams and their areas, in addition to adopting platforms that improve communication.
