Today, July 2, the South Korean company Hyundai has officially announced the Russian cost of the new Creta crossover – the manufacturer asks 1,199,000 rubles for the basic version called Prime. In this case, the car is supplied with front-wheel drive, with a manual transmission and a 1.6-liter engine. In addition, for a minimal price, a potential buyer receives an air conditioner, a multifunction steering wheel, heated and electrically adjustable side mirrors, as well as front airbags. Additionally, the new car is equipped with an assistance system when starting uphill and when descending from it.
In the top-end version, the Creta receives a two-liter engine for 149 horses, an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, but this configuration costs 1,900,000 rubles. This version of the car also attracts attention with a more stylish chrome grille with decorative elements, a bumper trim and LED taillights. Moreover, the top-end equipment offers the motorist a panoramic roof, blind spot monitoring and front parking sensors.
It is worth noting that this crossover is manufactured at a plant in St. Petersburg (the assembly of the new generation Creta began on June 16), which probably made it possible to reduce the final cost of the car. The official start of sales of the new car is scheduled for July 26 – literally at the end of the month, fans of the South Korean brand will be able to get the new product at dealerships.
In addition, the manufacturer reported on the success it achieved in the first half of 2021 – from January to June, Hyundai managed to sell 91,070 vehicles, of which 1,800 were sold through a new online sales service. Moreover, 55% of all vehicles sold are SUVs, and the Hyundai Mobility subscription service has already collected more than 28 thousand registered users, of which 3,600 people have at least one car in use.
