Recently, major automakers have taken the fashion to demonstrate conditional teasers of their new cars, darkening the background so as not to reveal all the features of the new body. Just yesterday, Kia showed the silhouette of its new electric car, and now Hyundai has shown the Kona N crossover in a similar style, the release of which, according to insiders, should take place in the first half of 2022. In the published photos, the manufacturer showed several characteristic features of the novelty, but no one went into details.
On the front of the crossover, you can see a new radiator grille with honeycomb and a fairly prominent “N” badge, indicating belonging to the new series of cars of the brand. Moreover, the bumper, both front and rear, has got decorative nostrils on the sides and a red edging – it visually starts at the front of the car, continues on the sills, and ends at the rear bumper. Here you can also see rather thin headlights, a separate section of “fog lights” and an air intake on the hood, consisting of three holes. However, there are plenty of interesting things behind too – the manufacturer clearly wants to attract the attention of the audience with a racing design.

For example, at the back you can see a racing dual exhaust system, a black diffuser, a sporty two-stage spoiler and an unusual brake light presented in the shape of a triangle. However, the last element does not seem very practical in everyday use. But the manufacturer did not say anything about the technical equipment of the car, the exact release date or at least the modifications – all the information will appear closer to the full-fledged announcement of the crossover, which, according to the company’s representatives, should take place in the very near future.
