Following the electric cars Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, which are built on the modular electric platform E-GMP, the Genesis GV60 crossover was announced on the same platform, but with different changes.
Genesis, which is Hyundai’s luxury brand, has yet to reveal details on range and battery capacity. The manufacturer only announced the car and showed the first images. The Genesis GV60 uses the Athletic Elegance design language, which includes signature headlights and taillights. At the same time, the electric car received a grill in front, which will be used to cool the battery.

The Genesis GV60 borrows interior elements from cars such as the G80 and GV80. It has a transparent Crystal Sphere controller for gear shifting with variable lighting and an infotainment control knob. For the first time, Genesis has installed digital rear-view mirrors that use external cameras to project an image onto two screens at the base of the A-pillars.
Based on what we already know about the Ioniq 5 and EV6, the Genesis GV60 will likely offer 58.0 to 77.4 kWh battery packs. The maximum power can reach 577 hp and the cruising range can be up to 480 km.

Genesis is promising more details on the GV60, including pricing and specifications, in the coming months.
