British supermarket chain Tesco customer Nick James received a pleasant surprise last week after he checked out groceries online and received them along with his iPhone SE.
As it turned out later, this was not a mistake. Tesco has a reward system for users who shop online. Tesco randomly selects customers and gives them iPhone SE compact smartphones.

The marketing campaign, called Super Substitute, is targeting online shoppers across the UK who shop at Tesco supermarkets. Under the terms of the promotion, the company replaces a random item in an online shopping cart with an unexpected gift, while retaining the original item.
Nick James was delighted with the gift, which he talked about on his page on the social network Twitter. Apples turned out to be a lucky “random commodity” in his case.
Tesco has given out 80 of these gifts to its online shoppers.
