SpaceX recently launched a pre-order process for connecting to its Starlink satellite internet. The company recently asked applicants to clarify their location on an online map on the official Starlink website.

I clarified my location – I will have to wait for a connection for a year or two.  Users complain about Starlink’s claiming system

This was all done initially, but the company asked to indicate the point as accurately as possible. As a result, some of those who did this found that the date of their connection had changed. And very much.

For some users, the date was originally 2021, and now the year is 2023. And some have shifted the point on the map by just a few meters.

I moved the point from the end of the track to my home and the date changed to 2022-2023

I moved the place from my barn to my house, which is a few meters away, and now I am in mid to late 2022

Some point out that the problem is actually old, just now many more people are immediately faced with it. SpaceX has not yet responded to the problem.
