Professor Denise Estivalete Cunha, 33, one of the survivors of the bus accident that killed seven people last Friday (4) in Immigrante (RS) shared a report about her recovery.
In the images, published by her sister, the coordinator of the Technical Course in Landscaping at the UFSM Polytechnic College appears with visible injuries and the voice still weakened.
“I couldn’t assimilate our losses. This is still very difficult for me, because I am very painful,” he said.
She recalled the moment of the accident and the feeling of having escaped death. “I had everything not to be here. I was sitting behind a driver, right in front and I hit the body and my head several times for everything”

Remember the case
The accident occurred on the morning of last Friday (4). The bus carried 35 people, including students and teachers who went to a cactan visit to a technical visit. Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle left the track, possibly due to a fault failure, and plummeted to a bluff, resulting in the deaths of seven people on the site.
In response to the tragedy, UFSM decreed an official mourning of three days, suspending academic and administrative activities on April 4 and 5. The institution also established a crisis committee to monitor the situation and support victims and their families.
