Rapper Oruam was released on the morning of Wednesday (26) in Rio de Janeiro after signing a detailed term of occurrence (TCO), a record made for crimes of lower offensive potential, with a maximum penalty of up to two years.
He had been caught in the act for personal favoring after the Civil Police found a fugitive from justice inside his home during a search and seizure operation.
As he left the police station, Oruam reaffirmed his innocence. “I didn’t know he [o amigo que estava em sua casa] It was a trafficker. I am innocent, ”said the artist before entering his team’s car.
Asked about the firearm firing investigation in Sao Paulo, he denied that he used lethal ammunition. “It was rubber bullet,” he said.
The operation and the arrest
On the morning of Wednesday (26), the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police fulfilled two search and seizure warrants at addresses of the rapper and his mother, Marcia Nepomuceno, wife of Marcinho VP, leader of the Red Command.
Oruam, whose real name is Mauro Davi dos Santos Nepomuceno, is investigated for firearm shooting at a residential condominium in Igaratá (SP), in December 2024. The purpose of the operation was to apprehend the weapon used in the episode and other materials that Help identify the armament owner.
During the search at the singer’s house, the agents found 25 -year -old Yuri Pereira Gonçalves, who had an open arrest warrant for the crime of criminal organization. He was arrested at the scene, and Oruam was taken to the police station for housing a fugitive from justice.

Defense denies involvement with crime
Oruam’s lawyer stated that the singer did not know that his friend was a fugitive from justice.
“He received the police normally without resistance. During the search, they found a person who had been there since Monday [24]. They are longtime friends, but this person omitted that he had an open arrest warrant, ”said the defender.
The defense of the rapper’s mother, represented by lawyer Flávio Fernandes, also denied any involvement of Márcia Nepomuceno in the investigation.
“She is a businesswoman, a civil servant and has nothing to do with it,” said Fernandes, noting that the search and seizure was not directed to her.
The Civil Police continues to investigate the case and tries to locate the weapon allegedly used by the artist in the shot in São Paulo.
