The São Paulo Civil Police arrested two suspects on Monday to shoot an application driver during an attempted robbery in São Roque, in the interior of São Paulo.
The case happened on May 13th. A camera attached to the driver’s car recorded the crime.
The video shows when two men get in the car, passing passengers. Armed, they announce the robbery and order the driver to stop the car. The victim asks for “calm” and continues driving. One of the criminals insists that he parks the vehicle and says he will get a bullet.
The victim continues to ask for calm, tries to accelerate the car and is shot by two shots.
The driver ended up losing control of the car and crashed against another vehicle and a tree. In the video it is still possible to hear when the victim screams for help and says “I don’t want to die.”
The man was rescued, underwent surgery and is doing well.
The Civil Police launched the “Dark Ride” operation to arrest the suspects on Monday (19). The temporary arrest warrants and search and seizure were fulfilled in the municipalities of São Roque and Mairinque.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Marcus and William, appointed as perpetrators of the crime.
Investigations are still in progress with the analysis of the materials seized at the addresses of the investigated.
