The banker Jennifer Castro – who became famous after the publication of a video of a confusion on a plane over a window seat – said that she would not change seats on the flight under any circumstances, as a learning experience for the child.
“I have a daughter, so I wouldn’t let her do that. It was a learning experience for her, no,” explained Jeniffer.
“The feeling I felt was that I was alone. Someone came to confront me, wanting to fight with me […] I still can’t speak properly,” he continued.
The banker spoke during the Fantástico program, on TV Globo, this Sunday (8).
Soon after the video went viral on social media last week, internet users thought that the person who insulted Jeniffer and published the video was the mother of the child who wanted the window seat. However, the person who filmed the film was nutritionist Eluciana Cardoso, a passenger on the plane who was angry when she heard the story while she was sitting in her seat.
“I took out my phone and started filming her at that moment. I totally lost control […] That was my mistake, having lost my emotional control. I am a person who is always centered”, said Eluciana in an interview with the program.
Aline Rizzo, mother of the child who wanted Jeniffer’s place, also told Fantástico that she is being threatened after all the controversy. “And you have to listen to all that in silence, because the person who suffered the attack there at the time, which was Jennifer, does not deny that it was the mother [que gravou a situação]”, he said.

The video went viral this Wednesday (4), generating controversy on social media. The image shows a woman with headphones in the plane window seat. She was recorded and exposed by a mother, after she refused to change places with a child.
In the footage, passenger Jeniffer Castro has her eyes closed, leaning close to the aircraft window, while a woman records and criticizes her for not giving up her seat for her son.
“I even asked if she had a syndrome, something, because if a person has a problem, a disability, we understand. But the person has nothing and doesn’t want to change anything!”, accused the woman.
When she realized she was being recorded, the passenger calmly took off her headphones and questioned the exposure.
After the disagreement, the mother posted the video on social media, hoping for support. However, most people criticized the attitude.
