A British surgeon on a mission to a hospital in Gaza said today that “he has never seen so many wounded from an explosion”, while Israel is stepping up its military operations in the Palestinian enclave, which has been leveled after 20 months. “I have never seen so many wounds from an explosion throughout my life, nor so many injured in Gaza,” said Victoria Rose, a member of a British medical mission offering her services to Nasser Hospital in Han Younis (south). Rose, who has visited the Gaza Strip many times, explained that she is finding many serious burns, typically to people who have been exploded. “We also observe these wounds also to very young children,” she added from the hospital’s pediatric clinic.
