'I have no idea what he was planning,' says son of man who shot Robert Fitzo

The son of the 71-year-old writer, who is accused of the attempted assassination of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, has made statements to the media, saying he does not know what happened. “I have no idea what my father intended, what he was planning, what happened,” said the son of the attacker, according to the media outlet “Aktuality.sk”, adding that his father owned a gun legally. It is noted that the attack took place in the city of Hadlova in central Slovakia, about 180 kilometers from Bratislava, when Fico was greeting supporters outside the “House of Culture”. Then, Yurai Chidula shot towards him four times, spreading terror. The bodyguards surrounded the prime minister and carried him to his vehicle, while he was then picked up by a helicopter and taken to the hospital, where he is undergoing surgery, with his condition being described as critical.
