The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulidis, from Luxembourg, where he participated in the Foreign Affairs Council, expressed his full support to Greece on the issue of Turkish provocations and underlined great concern about the developments in the Aegean because, as are also transferred to Cyprus with the illegal visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to the occupied territories, the illegal actions in the enclosed area of ​​Varosia and in general the toxic environment maintained by the Turkish Cypriot leadership, the Cypriot Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“This expression of our concern lies in the fact that Cyprus is the most vulnerable point in terms of all the threats posed by Turkey,” Mr Kasoulides said.
Support to Greece and Cyprus was expressed by the EU High Representative Z. Borel as well as a significant number of Member States, according to the relevant announcement.
