“I know what I saw”, the message of the sister of Amber Heard after the verdict of the trial

It has been almost a week since the jury found that Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, defamed each other, giving the actor the majority victory.

Despite the fact that the issue came to an end on the stand, the trial continues to give something to talk about and on this occasion, Whitney Henriquez, Heard’s younger sister and who was one of the trial witnesses, shared her feelings and support for her older sister, who, according to close sources, is disappointed and frustrated with the verdict obtained.

Henriquez shared his feelings and support for Heard through a small but forceful message on his Twitter account. Instagramin which he adds more than 30 thousand followers.

I’m still by your side, little sister. Yesterday, today and tomorrow: I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself, for testifying both here in Virginia and in the UK, and for being the voice of so many who cannot speak about what is happening behind closed doors. We knew it was going to be a grueling battle and that we had everything against us. But you were able to rise up and manifest yourself despite everything. It has been an honor to testify for you and I would do it again a million times because I know what I saw and because the truth will always be on your side. I am truly sorry that this is not reflected in the decision made by this jury, but I will never give up, nor will anyone who is by your side. I’ll always be with you.

During her statement in the media trial, Henríquez recounted an incident that occurred in March 2015. According to what was said, she witnessed when Heard showed Depp various messages that seemed to show that he had an affair with another woman. This in turn produced an argument that ended in a terrible episode of violence.

I was on my back at the top of the stairs. Johnny came up the stairs and hit me on the back. I heard Amber yell, ‘Don’t hit my sister!’ and I saw how she slapped him. At this point Travis, Johnny’s bodyguard, intervened, but Johnny had already grabbed Amber by her hair with one of her hands and was punching her repeatedly in the face with the other. Travis separated them.

Henríquez also stated that after that violent moment, Depp asked her to sign a confidentiality agreement, something that she refused, as she was not willing to betray her sister.

At the moment, Heard stays away from the cameras and has even remained silent in the face of the message of support that her sister posted on Instagram.
