An 11-year-old girl, who survived a mass shooting, remembers the horror she experienced inside her family’s luxury mansion in the state of Washington, USA. The child was awakened by the deafening sound of gunshots shortly before her older brother burst into her bedroom and opened fire. The young girl said she pretended to be dead – closing her eyes and holding her breath – after being shot in the arm and neck for fear her brother would return to finish the job, according to documents released by the King County District Attorney’s Office. She told police that her 15-year-old brother used her father’s gun to shoot to death her parents, Mark and Sarah Humiston, her two brothers and her sister on Monday morning.
