Babu Santana, actor and ex-BBB, celebrated the Davi Brito's victory at BBB24 through their social networks this Wednesday (17). The BBB20 participant posed with the app driver after the final of the reality show and published an “open letter” to him, where he celebrated the importance that the Bahian winning the program has for representation.
“Yesterday at the same time I was crying about your career at BBB”, began Babu, in the caption of the post on his Instagram profile in the early afternoon. “I saw myself in you, a young fighter, full of dreams but who was always discredited”, continued the ex-BBB.
Babu then recalled part of Davi's career on BBB24. “During the game, you were often judged, singled out, excluded, villainized, but you were resilient and resistant to all this pain. He was called a brat, angry, aggressive, when in fact he just lacked acceptance and understanding. But out here there was no lack of understanding, out here we never let go of your hand”, wrote the actor.
Davi is the first black man to win the reality show. “You represent thousands of young, black, peripheral people, who have their dreams diminished and degraded. You proved that we can, that it is our right to dream too!”, Babu said in the caption.
“David, this is just the beginning of everything! You are giant and you don't need to prove anything to anyone. Stick to your convictions and be happy, you will go far”, he concluded.
Davi Brito won Big Brother Brasil 24, on Tuesday night (16), with 60.52% of the votes. Thus, he also became the youngest man to win the reality show, at 21 years old.
