I will give Zelensky the solution to the war, Bolsonaro tells CNN

In an interview with CNN President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said this Thursday (14th) that he knows the solution to the end of the war in Ukraine and that he will soon talk to the president of that country, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Jair Bolsonaro also said that the contact for the meeting came from the Ukrainian government.

“I’ll give him my opinion on what I think. The solution for the case [guerra]. I know what the case would be like. But I won’t. The solution to the case… How did Argentina’s war with the United Kingdom end in 1982? It’s over there. People regret. The truth is things that hurt, hurt, but you have to understand. It was he who sought conversation with us. And I said straight away that I would talk to him, yes. He has a big country to run. Everything that was agreed with President Putin is being fulfilled. On my part and on his part. I will talk to him a lot [Zelensky]. He is a leader and I will give my opinion to him. This war has caused trouble not only for Brazil. Brazil less. It’s much more for Europe.

In February this year, Bolsonaro visited Russian President Vladimir Putin and asked that the shipment of fertilizers to Brazil not be interrupted.

Last month, in a meeting with US President Joe Biden, Bolsonaro lamented the conflict in Ukraine, but stressed that he has a country to manage.

“We want peace and we will do everything for peace to be achieved. We regret the conflicts, but I have a country to administer. And because of its dependencies, we always have to be cautious”.
