IAEA: Iran’s nuclear facilities should not be targeted

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has demanded “results” from Iran in controlling its nuclear program to avoid “war”. “It is necessary to have concrete, tangible and visible results that will show that this cooperation improves the situation (…) and overall that it moves away from conflicts and, ultimately, from war,” said Rafael Grossi in Tehran. Iran’s nuclear facilities “should not be the target of attack,” Grossi added during a press conference in Tehran alongside the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, referring to threats made by Israel. New Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Monday that Iran is now “more exposed than ever to strikes at its nuclear facilities”.
