Ibirapuera Park recorded 4.1 million visitors between January and March 2025. This is the largest number of regulars accounted for since the first quarter since 2021 the year the data came to be collected by electronic systems. The number is 9% higher than that recorded in 2024. Compared to 2022, first year after pandemic, the increase of visitors in the first quarter is 34% higher .
Regarding the total of visitors, the year 2024 was the busiest in history, with 16.61 million visits. A 13.5% growth compared to 2022, with a total of 16.61 million visitors.
The highlight is the number of visitors on Sundays. In 2024 there were 5.2 million people in the park on Sundays. The number is 27% over 4.1 million of 2022 and 11% higher than the 4.7 million visitors on Sundays of 2023.
The 32 bus lines that pass through the park had an increase of 41% in the number of passengers with the implementation of Domingão Tarifa Zero, according to SPTrans .
The SPTrans survey also shows that 70% of Paulistanos use free buses to walk on Sundays and 48% of them have parks and gardens as a destination, among these 57% choose Ibirapuera.
