Intracom Defense (IDE) is expanding its partnership with the German company Diehl Defense, by undertaking new work worth 5 million euros related to the production of critical electronic subsystems of the air-to-air and surface-to-air missile family IRIS-T.
The multinational cooperation program IRIS-T, strengthens the cooperation between the participating countries, strengthens the common Security of Supply and maintains an optimal established framework for the participation of the Greek Defense Industry and the development of domestic technological capabilities and infrastructure.
According to a relevant announcement, “the maximum possible utilization of the IRIS-T weapon system by the Armed Forces with its developments, will ensure operational advantages, increased availability and low life cycle costs due to the uniformity and the installed infrastructure, while at the same time to contribute valuable revenue to the National Economy on a long-term basis “.
